Some people use it as an opportunity to make a free post. Some people even go as far as posting and never even respond to the person for whom the thread is for.

I think he's losing both the cable and the phone line. But I haven't talked to him in the past day or 2 so maybe it changed to only cable, I dunno.

But good luck surviving the fallout. I think the Germans can help cope with it
