AC Slater, I forget what the AC stood for Adam something?
Samuel "Screech" Powers
Jessie
Kelly Companlon (I don't know how to spell it, but could pronounce it)
Lise Turtles
Richard Belding
That show was great, gonna get the first 4 seasons on DVD.
I still watch the Fresh Prince.
Know the words to the Ducktales song? That is just weak, I know that, TaleSpin, Darkwing Duck, Gummi Bears, Aladdin, heck most of the Disney afternoon block.
I loved Pound Puppies.
Smurfette wasn't the only female Smurf, baby Smurf was also female. That is what started to scare me.
Funny thing about Fraggle Rock is I never watched it nor heard about it, then like in Feb/March, my friend who went to school near me asked if I could get him episodes (I'm big on collecting old cartoons on my comp Batman: The Animated Series, Darkwing Duck and some others) so I was like ok. And that's howI saw my first episode.
I don't remember if I saw the original Turtles on the big screen. I've seen the movie a lot, probably 10 times in the last school year. Yup, it's about once a month at my school. Both of them, let's not talk about this supposed 3rd one.
Oregon Trail was a great game, use to suck when my cattle would die, and why is it teachers started off with such lousy pay?
I could keep going through that list, but I won't and some of it only applies to females...

Hey! There's nothing about backwards hats/sideways hats... OR.. Full House! Or Family Matters.
Aww.
Full House was definitive nineties for me. And then watching American's Funniest Home Videos right after. Oh, Bob Saget is god.

I thought that A.C Slater was Albert Clifford, not Alfred, but I dunno.
I agree, Bob Saget is the man. There is no doubt he'll replace Officer Carl in my avatar sometime soon.

My dad worked with Bob Saget once.
I have his autograph. If I find it, I'll scan it and put it up for you guys.

Mansion, Apartment, Shack, House
then childhood innocence died and it's been replaced by:
Murder, Assault, Suicide, Homicide
...
****ing reality.

Re: You know you grew up in the 80's or early 90's if...
Gremlins!!! brings back good memories...
and i actually did watch saturday morning cartoons every week, couldn't miss xmen or spiderman or else i'd be sad forthe rest of the day. And then the pokemon craze hit in aboot 99. But what i was really surprised wasn't on that list was scooters, EVERYBODY had them....insane.
Its funny about the ice skating before the inline skating because its so true, we used to go skating like twice a month in elementary....partially because there was a skating rink right next to the school. And i do still have the one sided skateboard, 19.99 from walmart...aahhh, good days

Actually, if you understood the refernece to "I've fallen and I can't get up"
You would know they did mention Family Matters.

One word: "Voltron"
Edit: More like "Cartoons"
This just made me remember all the cartoons I used to watch.
Centurions
Transformers
GI Joe
Thundercats
Now those were awesome back then.

Actually, the first thing I think of when I hear that is the commercials for those medic bracelets with the panic button. The old lady is lying on the floor next to the bath tub. SHe pushes her handy dandy button and 911 answers and she says, "help, i've fallen and I can't get up."

I was born in 1987, and most of those things DO apply to me. Heh. That's cool.

Or maybe I was too young to remember.
And "I've fallen and I can't get up" is only one reference, indirectly.
