Zelda GCN Speculation or What You Want to See in the New Zelda Game

Or not. A romance between Zelda and Link would never work with Link out adventuring and Zelda being in distress and all. There would be no time for them to fall in love so the romance would seem forced.

And it would be completely unnecessary. Whether Link loves Zelda or not, we know he's going to save her. Whether Zelda loves Link or not, we know she's going to confide and trust in Link to save Hyrule.

It would serve no purpose except to please people who can't seem to get their mind across the idea that not all female/male interactions have be in the interest of love or "I want in your pants."

I also think a massive Final Fantasy type story would not be good either. I don't think the Zelda storylines need to get anymore complex than what we've seen in WW and MM. Zelda has always had the focus more on gameplay than story, there's no need for it to change. Not every game has to be Metal Gear Solid.

Exactly. The story's for zelda games have been PERFECT so far. Wind Waker is as complex as I want it to be. You are one of the first people I've heard say that a huge story isnt needed for a game, especially zelda.

There IS a thing between each Link and Zelda. It's just not evident every time. Zelda SUPPORTS Link on his quest.. she's his inspiration most of the time. They don't have to kiss or hug or anything.
