Yep, the modem connects to the back of the Ps2, and the HDD connects to the "back" of the Modem. With that said, this game better have some damn good online features if it's going to require the HDD.

Hard drive, No prob. if the rumors are true about Gran Turismo 4 then i'll already be getting a Hard drive for that. (rumors are that GT4 will use a hard drive and let you download new courses and cars from the internet)
If the new PS2's come with a HD, then i will have one by Friday *crosses fingers*....but if they dont...i must wait until Friday....dam long wait....
