Holy sh*t, what did you do to fry your 9800?! If you want, I can give you the P.O.S. FX5200 video card to use in your computer. It'll be screaming bloody murder until you get a new card but at least you can still play FFXI (since ominub did with it for a bit).
And if your going to buy one of the most brand new cards, I dont think the 6800Ultra is out yet. The x800Pro is but in slightly limited supplies. But if you can, wait for the x800XT since it will smack all the other cards around
Oh, and also. Don't tell me your on the 233mhz computer in the house
