That's why you keep the pre-order receipt becuase thats your secondary proof that you did make a pre-order. If you lose it and they say you weren't on the list, then tough luck. Learn from mistakes

My EB guys have been great so far. I've preordered stuff up to like 8 months in advance, and never kept the receipts... and they've never screwed me over.

I've only been screwed over once, where they sold my copy to the guy right f****** in front of me. i went up and said:

" I pre-ordered a copy of Vice City"

"I'm sorry, were out"

"What?...i pre-ordered it though, you have to have more in stock"

"Nope, we sold the last one to that guy" *points in direction*

"Did he pre-order it too?"

"no"

"you f****** a******"

And that so far has been my experience with pre-ordering games from EB. I honestly think nazi's run the place.
