Old or new? I don't really have any space for Old Bands anymore, other than the ones that Germy put. All of the bands that are there are good enough. Other than that, I do'nt know if I can change it. I don't know which new band to change it with, and I think that the battle is fine at as it is.

Besides that...I put in Van Halen for you! I didn't do it mainly for you though...I didn't think that U2 and Bob Marley fit in there, just as Stonecutter was saying. Just be glad that I changed a few things, and don't be selfish.

Don't worry about any of it Zebra...I mean, you made a contest with 64 bands, it's impossible include some bands that EVERYBODY likes...I think you should just stick to how it is and completley new bands can be in the next one (if you feel like doing a new one.) There's no point in arguing about who should be in there or whatever...the list is there and we'll just vote on it how it is.

Though now that I think about it, I do have a complaint!
Only one hip-hop group in the battle. I know a lot of people dislike hip-hop, but it can be very good if you find the right pocket of artists. So, yes, I'm contradicting myself by now posting an issue I have with the battle, but...eh...screw it.

Well, you have to keep in mind that modern music spans a huge variety of genre's, with an immense selection from each. If I had created a bracket of all of MY favorite bands, the bracket would be much different.

A few of the bands in my bracket were on your list of "good" bands that you posted in another thread. I think that's fair. There was no concievable way for me to include all of them, I had to pick a few bands from different categories, hoping I would get at least one band that everyone liked. I realize that we are only 3 matches into the tournement, but none of the bands I've chosen have yet to get zero votes, so that means I'm doing a good job so far. I havnt presented a band that no one likes yet.

the old bands are fairly decent. i have more probs with the new ones. altho in his defence, newer good bands are harder to think up.

I had U2 in the battle.....lol..
but they don't fit well with the old bands I put. It was hard trying to fit bands in that would appeal to everyone, and still work with the battle.

Anyway...it's the second round and you're just noticing this?

I predicted when the battle started that the final four for the old bands would be The Beatles, The Who, Led Zeppelin, and The Rolling Stones. It looks like that's what it will be..but that's not necessarily bad.
