Re: Has anyone ever...
Yeah, I've completed 100% of every Zelda game thus far. But I mean, I do that over the span of a couple of months.

Re: Has anyone ever...
I beated OoT on 100%.... but TWW was just too boring and not rewarding enough.

Did they really expect us to go search for the treasure after every chart? I just saved them all up and got the treasure when I was around. So I never knew who gave me a heart piece and who gave me some crappy rupees.

Re: Has anyone ever...
While it was a great game, I didn't get 100%. I didn't even get the Nintendo Gallery. And.. in Zelda games I usually get everything but the pieces of heart.
Oh wait, I did complete Majora's Mask--but that was because I got an NP Player's Guide. You just HAD to do sidequests in that game, because the normal game was so short.

Re: Has anyone ever...
If i had it, i would try for 100%, but i dont, so i cant.
I usually strive to get 100% in the games i have that have the option, such as FFX-2...
The whole cell-shaded thing stopped me from purchasing it.That and the lack of Gamecube.
*Curses the fact he has 92% in FFX-2 and doesnt know what the hell to do*

Re: Has anyone ever...
I've had WW since Christmas and I still haven't beat it. FFXI took control of my gaming time since January.

Re: Has anyone ever...
After being blown away by Ocarina Of Time, and the equally captivating Majora’s Mask, I felt a tad bit cheated when I played and finished Wind Waker. Sure, Wind Waker looks really really good. In fact, Wind Waker was one hell of a good looking game with fluid animations and details left and right. But its graphics didn’t cover up the fact that it was basically Ocarina Of Time, with fewer temples and more exploring.
Now, I’ll admit, Majora’s Mask was no Ocarina Of Time either, but it had interesting side quests, and you could accomplish a lot by exploring. And I personally got pulled into the world of Majora’s Mask. I thought the way the game played out was one of a kind, and even though it focused more on side quests then temples, that was okay.
Wind Waker isn’t a bad game. But it takes a long time to beat. That seems to be one of the major issues for me. I have yet to beat Metroid Prime, despite it being one of the best games I have ever played. I got it over Christmas, played the hell out of it, and got thrust back into school. You need at least an hour of time to get situated and do some exploring in Metroid Prime, which is what kept me from beating it. Now, the problem is I got pretty far in Metroid Prime, and I’ll have to spend a lot of time gaining lost ground (because I refuse to pick up where I left off several months ago. As a gamer, that feels like a forbidden taboo).
I beat Wind Waker in a week or two, mostly because I had a lot of free time on my hands to play through it, and because I was so motivated from all the energy I had before its release. I had that bad boy preordered way before it came out. I do plan to go back and get 100% completion in Wind Waker one day, but it may take a while.
I just hope that the new Zelda game does something innovative. I don’t mind the Zelda formula, but some new twists in the gameplay would be nifty.
