good topic.

my biggest problem is using the three periods...

i do that way too much. i do use WTF and lol a bunch on aim, but not too much on message boards. to me, it seems like a cool dialect of english. it is more efficient, and you can certainly understand just as easily. personally, i think it's cool, but i know kids are growing up using this crap, and pretty soon brain power will be at a minimum. oh well.

On boards I do the periods quite alot too...just a habit I formed...damnit..i must stop

I use lol sometimes in city of heroes when in a group but on AIM I usually use heh most of the time.

and I dont mind if they aren't laughing. Its more of a "that was funny" thing now. If you do something like LOL or rofl/lmao, then your laughing. lol is generic now

The 3 periods help though...you can put non-sentences together, and make random thoughts make sense!

Personally, I hate the spam out there. Not word spam, but spam spam. I went to an IRC search engine today, to find servers to download music on, and an ad for FREE ASIAN PORN1111! popped up. I mean, what the hell. I'm just doing some innocent pirating, I don't want to look at FREE ASIAN PORN1111!

Eventually, the spyware is going to catch up to Mozilla. And then we're all screwed.

That's true, for now, but a lot of people are switching to Mozilla. Even Mircrosoft suggested that users get a different browser to replace Internet Explorer. IE is buggy, it crashes, it's a spyware magnet, and it can't do much about ads.

Hopefully the government steps in like they keep saying they will. We need government support to get rid of all the spam out there.

In Holland companies get fined for spam.

But we get most spam from the US anyway.
