Well, the biggest problem with the Xbox version of both the standard and GOTY editions is the "Disc Read Errors" that you get all of the time. As long as you're CONTINUOUSLY creating new saves instead of saving over the same one you'll be fine. But if you don't you constantly get a disc read error - not because the Xbox can't read the disc, but because it ran out of RAM and can't remember where everything in the game is so you have to restart your system to purge the RAM of irrelevant data (official ElderScrolls webpage).

My personal issue with the game was that I got the Shadow Shield early and sold it before I had to get it as part of the main quest and then I couldn't get it back - even by killing the guy I sold it to. He had gotten rid of it. I got no warning that I couldn't beat the game without it like you would get if you kill an important NPC, and was screwed out of 20 hours of gameplay.

Yeah it has it's small problems. I can't do any missions for some Guild leader because he's waiting for a potion that I already gave him 50 hours earlier.

And for the main mission I was looking for a bow, well it appeared that a ghost had that bow, but I killed it and forgot to check the corps (ghosts rarely have something usefull I guess). So when I got back some hours later, the ghost corpse () was gone. But i found the bow somewhere in the wall.

But beside that, the game is great for at least 1 run through. And yeah, level up speed first...
