man, what a crappy World Series. after the Yanks/Sox (one of the best series of all time), I wasnt hoping for all that much. but this has been pathetic...the Cards havent put up a fight. stupid mistakes in the WORLD SERIES?

Yes I love the red sox, have since I was nine (when I realised the bums left Brooklyn in the fifties). It was 86 years in the making, and they finally won

And to think they were all ready to trade Ramirez!

Well, I would just like to congratulate the Red Sox and their fans on their victory. I can't think of a better team to have lost to. You guys definitely deserve this.

And to my Cardinals, thank you for making this year extra special. It's a shame we couldn't win it, but this was still a year for the record books and one to remember. I'll be looking forward to next year.
