Do you wish there were more female lead roles and heroes in video games?

Re: GameCube Mario Kart Bundle
How much is this package going for?
Because I plan on buying a GC for the new Zelda game whe it comes out, and Mario Kart is a fun game.

In response to that random and off topic question I say:
Yeah, it would be cool. The girl is always the wimpy annoying character in the video game. Although, that is what I know and have grown up with so its fine with me if things don't change. Basically, I'm not throwing a fit because there aren't many good girl characters. But if there were more, i'd say "cool"

Re: GameCube Mario Kart Bundle
Actually I think there are too many lara croft clones....
If you want to do a female character, do it right, like in SH3 for example.... not sure if that's a good example but eh
