Never played Colosseum but hear it was the most story driven Pokémon game. Then again you couldn't catch Pokémon in the wild; twas all focused around Shadow Pokémon and the Snatch move. The main character looked pretty badass though. Well, as badass as a Pokémon trainer could look. The kid in this one looks like a Digidestined reject. Just slap some goggles on him. (In Season 2 the kids did use a DS-like device...hmm.) Well, wasn't a fan of the character in Ruby/Sapphire either. In conclusion this will sell a gazillion copies merely because it's Pokémon.
