And yes, the consistency of semen changes to a sort of gelatin-like substance when hot water is added.

Yeah......you can still knock someone up in a hot tub. That's another one of the many misconceptions about sex......just for the record, any penetration or half penetration or near penetration can lead to pregnancy.
