I thought Sony was really original with that sequential ordering idea........ the commercial came out with PS9.... lol... to think 9 generations ahead.

Thats why I think it's going to s*ck if Microsoft names theirs Xbox 2........

But press at the Gaming Developers Conference said they heard Nintendo talking either Nintendo MAX or Nintendo R

They should call it the PlayStation 4. Then when people see PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 side by side, which do you think they'd choose?

Still like Nintendo 5...

Having sequential names makes the public think it has more staying power.
PlayStation and Final Fantasy are prime examples.
