Nah, no clues, cause that would be the answer. I'll give you a hint, it has nothing to do with math. Although, someone made a list of properties the stupid thing follows.

It's Conway's Triangle. It has nothing to do with math. Each line describes the one previous:
1
11 <---- One one (describes line 1)
21 <---- Two ones (describes line 2)
1211 <----- One two, one one (describes line 3)
111221 <------- One one, one two, two ones (describes line 4)
And it continues....forever, and yeah.
Anyway, apparently there are formulas and stuff that predict the pattern of the thing, which is retarded, because it's not really all that mathy. Oh well.

There was a puzzle like that in KotOR. Probably my favorite piece of brain-usage in any game ever.
