Re: RE4 crashing GC
I have never seen any system crash in my day.... which is a stroke of luck. My friend had the Xbox, I played Halo with him and friends for hours... no crashing.
My PS2 never crashed, and my friend's GC has reportedly never crashed.
But I guess it happens when it happens.

Re: RE4 crashing GC
On a related note - I encountered a weird bug in Halo the other day. I drove a warthog down to the silent cartographer (the part where they shut the doors just as you get there) anyway the front part of the warthog got stuck when the doors came down and started shaking back and forth violently. I tried to free it with grenades but it didn't work. Even though the door wasn't fully closed it looked like there was a second faded door right behind it.

Re: RE4 crashing GC
My N64 crashed a few times. Once with Golden Eye and twice with WC98 (soccer).

When I was playing THPS3 on XBox last week, and I did a wallride and got stuck behind a billboard. I just kept spinning and adding to my multiplier, but I couldn't do any flips or other tricks, and even when time ran out it didn't do anything. I had to quit.
Weird.

Re: RE4 crashing GC
THPS2 used to crash my GC then one day stopped doing so. Then I remember the times my GC made this really loud horn sound (like a foghorn) after alot of PSO playing but then it all went away also. Dunno about RE4 crashes, havent heard of many

Re: RE4 crashing GC
I think I may have had the Cube crash ONCE in metroid prime in that famous Elevator bug. But I dont recall any other times, and I know I got no crashes in RE4.

My Gamecube crashed repeatedly when battling the shark boss in Viewtiful Joe, I could never figure it out...

Re: RE4 crashing GC
No crashes with the GC at all, none with my thin PS2. No problems exist.
