I'm sorry to disappoint you guys, but that article is really old. Also that photo is really fake.

Not a word has been said about Sammy vs. Capcom for almost 2 years now. I think you might as well consider it cancelled.

Yeah if there is no word about it at E3 this year just go ahead and forget about it.

In other news, they're updating the game once again.

The next version of Guilty Gear is called #Reload\

A lot of technical changes to the characters. I'm excited.
