How many times do I need to invalidate the rep system?
With or without the system, we'd still have people who make good posts and people who make bad posts. There used to be a thing called reputation that had nothing to do with 'pips'. People used to confuse it with popularity. The reputation system simply was a manifestation of this mistake.
