Hmm, I could never get into FFVII (or any FF game for that matter)...I'll find some place to read the synosis of the game before watching the movie I guess.

Spirits Within was an ok movie. Didn't care much for the monster designs though.

I had trouble getting into FF III (or VI in Japan), even though everyone screamed "OMFGSTFUNOOBBBQ its such a good game". The best way i found was to tell myself to play for an hour and if its still not interesting, then everyone else is off their rockers.

Yeah, I didn't see what all the hype for FFVII was about. The first disc was absolutely painful. I'm kind of glad Square meandered away from Nintendo when they wanted to create bigger, longer games and moved to Playstation just because of the CD format. But it's obvious Square just wanted to **** around, and it ended up spanning four effing discs. I don't even think I'm halfway through the first one, and I fell asleep at multiple points - I'm not even a narcoleptic.

Did they say if Dyne was in Advent Children or not? I thought he was cool.

i only know bits and pieces of it, but its as follows:

3 other clones of Sephiroth think Cloud is hiding him, Cloud himself somehow gets infected with Geostigma - a disease that Vincent explains to him (but i forgot what it does

). As well the clones attempt to bring children to their side against the heroes. Granted all i know is from what was subtitled in one of the previews.

and yes, there are plenty of flash backs, of everyone from Aries to Zack
