I protested against it at my previous college where it was "da sh*t." At my new school no one uses it and only then did I join it where my account continues to go pretty much unused.

Well my Junior College can finally access it. And yes, I have it. I will admit, I like it better than Myspace. Its simpler but just as useful, runs way faster, and it just has a much "cleaner" look to it.

I admit though, people do abuse it. I will stand by my one rule of facebook: I will not accept anyone as a friend inless I have actually talked to you in real life, and I think your someone I could get along with. Even if I wouldnt actually consider you a "friend"

I do the same. Although many of my friends are people I went to high school with so I haven't seen or talked to them in 4 years (because I live many miles away from them)

We got new college students and what have you.

Facebook now works for High School's too and I actually wrote an article about the service (and the normal college one) for the school paper so as to have more of the graduating class of '06(yay, graduated yesterday!) keep in touch through it.
