Gonna go pick it up now...3 mile walk...each way...don't wanna pay bus fare...would have paid shipping online if that was the case...

EDIT: Screw it. Took the bus. Got my game. I feel like a junkie in the need of a fix.

I'm all done now; unlocked everything I think (gonna finish up Mission Mode to make sure there's nothing I missed). Rob is definitely my favorite racer now that I've unlocked all of the karts. Once you've unlocked everything you can couple heavy drivers with light carts for all the benefits of being heavy (knocking people around, high overall speed) and none of the downsides (good acceleration, good steering).

Definitely enjoying it a lot more now that everything's unlocked. I can hardly wait to get online and "pwn some n00bs."

What's worse is I'm doing the ONE MORE DAY thing all over again! I already did it on Sunday!

Maybe I'll call EB and double-check the 16th release date.

It seems to be forever searching for opponents for online play...

EDIT: Had my first online match. Was first for most of it...see finish line...then blue shell...then shrunk...came in 3rd...*sigh* gonna unlock all the tracks before I do anymore online play methinks.

1:55 P.M. Arrive at computer lab

2:03 P.M. Read Dyne's post regarding EB having Mario Kart

2:05 P.M. Leaving computer lab en-route to car en-route to mall

2:10 P.M. Arrive at mall

2:14 P.M. Arrive at EB Games

2:18 P.M. Walk out of EB with copy of MK: DS in hand

2:26 P.M. Am back in computer lab at school posting about my victory.

Special thank you goes out to Dyne. His post gave me the motivation to make the risky trek. Imagine how disappointed I would've been if they weren't selling yet?

OMFG! ZOMG! This is the most ****ing insane, amazing game ever! Everyone buy a copy with your parent's credit card ASAP!!!

Epilogue: Yesterday I bought GTA: LCS to wash away my sorrows of the MK delay. D'oh! But hey, it's an awesome game too. What a great week!

My local best buy didnt have it in today, shocking. Pfffft. Im sure they havent even put it on shelves yet, because there was no empty spot for it. I probably wont get to check again until Thursday. And im definatley getting it at Best Buy because I have a 30 dollar gift card for there.

I have yet to get my friend code because my stupid campus is WPA encrypted or whatever crap.

Anyways, OH GOD.

SO GOOD.

I painted the O RLY owl from scratch. It kicks ass. I can't wait to show you guys online some time.

I think my only option as of now is going to a coffee shop to get wireless.

Speaking of which, I'm going to create a sticky thread to set up matches.

So far I'm 10-3. Would have been 10-0 if I didn't get disconnected my first time. So much fun being Daisy online...you just know the other people are pissed when the most annoying character beats them.
