Re: Resident Evil 4 Help
There isn't a really easy way to beat Bitores Mendez. All I can give you is a few tips:
1. There's an explosive barrel. Use it.
2. If you have grenades, use them all up now (except for flash grenades). You'll get plenty later on since this is still fairly early in the game. And Bitores Mendez is really the last boss where grenades will be useful.
3. Use the shotgun. If you don't have many shells, then blast him in his walking form with the handgun and then after he transforms, use the shotgun so you don't have to aim with pinpoint accuracy when he's jumping around.
4. Stay about two steps away from a ladder. When Mendez gets too close, climb up and run around to the other side of the room and then jump back down. It's very important that you get back down as soon as possible because otherwise he'll rear up and knock you down which hurts. But if you're fast, you can keep shooting him, run up and around to the other side when he gets too close and then blast him again until he gets too close at which point you can climb up and run again etc.
5. Try not to imagine that there are even harder bosses on the way. Or that this games has a "Professional" mode in which Mendez will kill you in three hits.

Re: Resident Evil 4 Help
That guy was the most impressive boss in the game, IMO. The final boss was a pushover.

Re: Resident Evil 4 Help
man, that dude was easy peezy lemon squeezy.
blew the barrel up, threw 1 grenade, had him in half, unloaded 1 full 50 bullet TMP clip into him, and he died.
after that, i sold the handgun, shotgun and punisher and bought the first magnum {forgot name} .233 semi-auto rifle and scope.

Uhh...not to put too fine a point on it, but that was stupid. Really stupid. If you have a previous save file where you have those weapons, you should go back to it. Otherwise, you'll need to go buy a handgun and shotgun again.
The Broken Butterfly is not only slow shooting, its ammo is also really scarce. Besides, you can also get it later on for free...
You need a shotgun and a handgun. The Broken Butterfly and rifle simply aren't going to be able to handle crowds (besides having scarce ammo). They can't handle fast-moving enemies (and you will be facing plenty later on). Go back and get your stuff back now. If you have to sell your magnum to do it, then sell the magnum. The rifle is actually pretty useful, but the magnum's ammo is so scarce that you will basically have enough to kill the bosses you meet and not much more.

I have about 60000 pesos or whatever they're called, so i'll by back the shotgun and handgun and sell the broken butterfly.
but, he doesnt even move from the cage.
EDIT: okay I bought the Blacktail back and sold my TMP, but what is a good way to lure the guy out of the cage without practically commiting suicide?
