You need a shotgun and a handgun. The Broken Butterfly and rifle simply aren't going to be able to handle crowds (besides having scarce ammo). They can't handle fast-moving enemies (and you will be facing plenty later on). Go back and get your stuff back now. If you have to sell your magnum to do it, then sell the magnum. The rifle is actually pretty useful, but the magnum's ammo is so scarce that you will basically have enough to kill the bosses you meet and not much more.
You mean you didn't notice that growth on his back?

I have about 60000 pesos or whatever they're called, so i'll by back the shotgun and handgun and sell the broken butterfly.
but, he doesnt even move from the cage.
EDIT: okay I bought the Blacktail back and sold my TMP, but what is a good way to lure the guy out of the cage without practically commiting suicide?

You see a scary monster in a cage and don't even try simply walking up to it (or perhaps the switch next to it), and think you're stuck? *scratches head*
You kick the door in, walk up to him, and he flips out... But he doesn't lunge right for you, so you turn around, get some distance and then fight...
Or better yet, kick the door down, back up into the cage and run forward as soon as you hear "*CLANK* ERRRUUGHHHH!!" or anything similar.

i already beat him, okay took about 7 or 8 shots directly into the parasite on his back, but after that, fighting the hordes of cult guys was a bitch.

Ok, well, I am slightly pissed.
I'm going through the game again...Round 2, Mafia suit and such. But the point where you get the boat to fight the lake monster....there is no boat! And I am pissed off.

Now you're bad-ass looking enough to swim across yourself. Aw yeah.
Did you go to the viewpoint to see them throw the officer in (instead of hanging a sharp right, right after the door)? I'm doing another round too and the boat was there after the guys drove back from the middle of the lake.

Re: Resident Evil 4 Help
Well if you were still missing it you could have also checked at the merchant's store right beside the first El Gigante. Memory serves that you drove the boat in there after you had finished with the stuff across the lake and docked it right beside his port store.
