Conspiracy?

I haven't watched it yet I'm in a rush and I should probably wait to post.

I agree with Strangler that if a conspiracy by Bush to kill our own people to start a war is what's being insinuated then it's stupid.

However, I just watched a video of a seminar at Brigam Young University about how the towers fell. One Dr. Steve Jones a professor of physics I believe there at BYU, gave the seminar. There are a lot of scientific holes in the official story of what brought the towers down. For example, there was molten metal found in the basement of not just the twin towers but also the WTC 7 building which collapsed inexplicably, inexplicably even by I believe FEMA's report which can't explain it. Jet fuel doesn't burn hot enough to melt steel or iron, and anyway there was no jet fuel in the WTC 7 building yet it collapsed.

Well I've already taken more time than I should have.

My point is, I've always thought the same thing, conspiracy theories are bunk. But there seem to be some true scientific holes in the official theory of how the three buildings collapsed, holes that are being backed up with real science not just conspiracy theories. And I think it's right to ask questions when the science behind the official story doesn't make any sense.

It looks like a planned implosion, leading me to believe that the structural weakness was near the base of the building. The towers went down from the top down... not so with 7.

EDIT: Ok, I've looked more into this and its stupid too and doesn;t stand up to even a shallow analysis.

The accusation is that WTC 7 was demolished with explosives, as well as the towers, in conjunction with the airplane strikes. They make this argument using grainy footage of small explosions that appeared on the surface of the buildings as they came down, called "squibs".

This could make sense as a theory if it were not for the following:

1) When thousands of pounds of building is collapsing on itself, the sheer airpressure created is enough to blow out windows.

2) The amount of explosives needed is huge to do this. Are you telling me that the tens fo thousands of people wo worked in those building never founds any of the charges?

3) The tower collapses did not look like a professional demo job. Large chunks peeled off the sides and the area of debris was huge.

This is not to say that WTC 7 wasn't demo'd. It may have been, but at leasy that would make sense. It was on fire and had a lot of damage. If the government did demo the building, why didn't they explain it? That is another interesting story I'd like to know if it is true.

What do you make of the cell phone calls? To me that seemed like the strongest point, cell phones and planes sucked a few years ago.

I've seen a different 9/11 conspiracy video recently that got deep into the physics in explaining why it was a demo'd job for the towers and WTC7. From what I could tell, it looked very believable in their evidence it was demo'd.

Once alot of these videos/documentary's started hitting, I've become aware that the Government is covering something up. I'm just not some great scientific person to explain it.

Well in order for the argument to be made that 9/11 was planned and acted on by the US government, several things must also be true:

1) Osama Bin Laden and Al Quaeda (I know I'm spelling that wrong) are employees of the United States since they have taken credit for everything and are willing conspirators.

2) Al Quaeda attacks on US property, going back nearly two decades, were all planned by the US is preparation for 9/11.

3) Since the attacks span several presidencies by two separate political organizations, our polical process is a ruse and we are constantly manipualted by a shadow government that is most likely headed by the boards of all the major corporations.

4) We can only be saved from this cladestine manupulation and corruption by Chuck Norris when he repels down the side of Mount Rushmore and crashes through the giant glass window of the shadow goverment's board room and kills them all with his AK-47 (with grenade launcher attachment). I imagine his clever one liner to be something like this: "better call 911, f**kers" and then he blows them all to smithereens.

Yes, it makes for an exciting action thriller, but I doubt thats what really happened.

Like I stated before... if you think that the United States is the greatest evil in the world, you will lap this conspiracy nonsense up as if it were unfettered truth.

If you have an ounce of objectivity in your body, you'll make the quick logical analysis that I just numbered, and recognize it for what it really is: Rubbish.
