He's scared because he knows it will outsell the 360 now. Before he thought otherwise.

I wonder what the target demographics are for each console, and if there's even any overlap.

This guy says he expects the majority of XBox 360 buyers to be college students? He expects said students to go without food for HD gaming?

If Microsoft really thinks they can sell enough boxes to that demographic, then they should not fear the Wii, as I believe Wii is not going to be the first pick by a male that is "part of a Halo 2 clan and has been for two years."

Wii would outsell XBox360s, but not to the 'guys-obsessed-with-Halo' crowd, go figure.

You'd think they'd be trying to find new customers, not just make previous costumers pay more and go without food

you're looking WAY too far into that interview, dude. he was asked about an ideal customer, not their entire target market...

Oh, I see. Well yes, that would be a very ideal customer!

As it has been stated before, it can be difficult to find tone within text. I assume now the guy was talking in a sort of tongue-in-cheek manner about a dream customer. I thought before that the marketers were out of touch with reality.
