Re: Yesterday I...
Congrats on purchase. I'll just go through what games I own and how I feel about them:
Super Mario 64 DS - Came free with my DS. Just as fun as the original with more characters and more to do. The controls just aren't as good as on the N64.
Meteos - I love this game. I bought a screen protector before hand with this being my first touchscreen game. Glad I did. One hell of a great puzzler and my second favorite game for the system. There is also a ton to unlock which will keep you busy. I heard multiplayer is great but I never tried. Kept me occupied for an entire plane ride from LA to NYC. About 40 hours clocked in.
Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow - My favorite DS game. There is so much to do, especially if you like to complete games at 100% and find all items like I do. About 40 hours clocked in.
Mario Kart DS - Nothing to say that anyone will tell you different and you're getting anyway so enjoy. Just watch out for snakers...and cramped hands.
New Super Mario Bros. - I beat it within a couple hours of getting it. The replay value comes from finding all the hidden levels and getting the three coins found in each level. It's a pretty solid game. Nothing amazing but I reccomend if like Mario games.
Animal Crossing Wild World - I actually ended up selling this game. Animal Crossing for GameCube was my favorite game of all time. I played the hell out of it. The DS one was almost exactly the same except it felt like they removed the best parts. How I miss holidays. And never could adjust to the rotating world with the closer view. *sigh* The online aspect didn't appeal to me. The few times I went into other towns the communication was awkard and we ended up chasing eachother around with the axes.
Kirby Canvas Curse - I bought this on a whim since I heard people were beginning to have trouble finding it and I had heard good things about it. If I wasn't such a huge Kirby fan already I'm not sure how I would feel about it. And if it wasn't for the counter saying how many hours I've played I would have felt that I wasn't getting enough play time for my money. Alas I have 20 hours clocked in.

Re: Yesterday I...
Advance Wars is pretty good. Too bad it got repetetive after awhile... I wonder how the sequels sell? Worth getting a used copy!
Oh, and don't forget that it can play GameBoy Advance games. Unless the DS Lite can't... that'd be weird.
Also, I second the opinion on Dawn of Sorrow. Fun game! Nintendogs on the other hand... even my fiance got bored with it. She loves dogs!

I have all the good DS games, save Phoenix Wright and Sonic Rush. You can try them out next time we're both at Dylan's.

AH yes I picked up Phoenix Wright a couple weeks back, along with Trauma Center. I am having quite a bit of fun with both of them.
How is Wario Ware:Touched? I have been looking into getting that one as well.

It's good, but the replay value is just not enough. If you can find it for cheap, go for it. I think I like Cooking Mama leagues more.

Yeah, that is what I was thinking. There are a few games I want, but I don't really want to pay $50-60 bucks for them. Tetris DS for example.

Tetris DS is $50-$60? That's news to me.
I can get it at Willow Video, brand new for $40. And I've seen it used a lot of times.
