To be honest I'm a bit confused about the history of Twilight Princess.

Don't highlight the next part unless you finished the 4th temple and saw the cut-scene after that.
Ganon gets exectued by the sages, but he can't die, so they send him tot he Twilight World.... Is this in the time of Ocarina of Time? Didn't they lock him up in the Sacred Realm? (
Which he turned into The Dark World, which lead to ALttP? I liked that theory.)
Does anyone know how to see this? Is the Ganon from TP the same as in OoT? Or has there always been just 1 Ganon(dorf)? Did something happen between OoT and TP?
And please, no spoilers beyond the point that I said above, I don't want to spoil it after staying spoilerfree for years.
