I agree that the iphone is not the end all phone too. In fact, nothing apple is really end-all in my book. I don't like where the ipod has been stuck for the last 3 years, I'm not a huge fan of the apple hardware cost, and being somewhat a power user I could care less that their OSes are flashier and easier to use initially than a Windows machine. But the lesson here is you can't argue with Apple users, because they are always right 100% of the time. Trust me, i roomed with one, I know 10 more. If steve jobs took an iCrap it would be the most awesome thing ever, so arguing that the iphone didn't live up to its hype is like me arguing that all the stuff you can do on a Mac can be done on Windows, no apple fan wants to hear it.
i don't disagree with you or gekko completely. besides, a little creative competition is good for gates, you can't run a monopoly without boxing out the competition
