Well, at least there are a few intelligent Mac users around. That's definitely a better argument than the typical stuff I get. I do feel compelled to point out that Vista has greatly resolved a lot of the driver-pain-in-the-ass stuff. That's something that Windows has always been crappy with....let's flash back to the 95 days when USB drives weren't around...reinstalling windows was like a day-long procedure. I also disclaim that Vista is not perfect, although it's definitely 10 steps up from anything prior to it.
I suspect the iPhone will find a niche in a more mainstream portion of the market when the price goes down a bit. I don't know if it will share the same amount of success as the iPod, but I'm sure by the second or third generation the thing will be nice and refined. If I could afford the cost of the phone + the data plan I'd seriously take a stab at it....but yeah. One day.
