Re: The life and times of...
I like all of the Michael Crichton books. He wrote Jurassic Park, Sphere, Timeline, etc.
Books I recently read and liked: Shogun, Dune.

Re: The life and times of...
The only books I've ever read under my own free will, are the books by George Carlin. I have all three, and I've read each of them about 7 times.
I really want to read the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, but nobody I know has it.

Re: The life and times of...
I learned to read at around age 3-4, and eventually got bored with it.
I bought a book for the first time in a long time (6-7 years?) because I wanted to see how it felt to be one of those hip college(-aged) students who are interested in and curious about things, and spend their time reading and having opinions... And because a program on the civil war sparked my interest.
So on impulse, I ran to amazon.com, glanced through a list of Civil War bestsellers, compared reviews and subject matter, and settled on This Republic of Suffering: Death and the American Civil War...
It's pretty interesting, although I find it hard to keep my eyes and mind focused on reading and comprehending the book... My vision goes blurry, my mind wanders. And I bought it maybe 2 weeks ago and I'm 25 pages in...
Baby steps...

Phil, you Dylan and Becky all suck then.
Wtf.
I request a copy of the book from one of you.
Also, Dylan - I believe you will like your birthday present.

Is it sex?
Because if it's sex I don't want it.
Yes I do.

Nice. Timeline was great but the movie sucked.
And James Clavell is great. I have his whole Asian Saga. My girlfriend also got me the made-for-TV movie of Shogun, and we're watching it right now. It's really good, and a nice recap of the book.
Edit: Typhoid - Me, Dylan, and Becky all have it. I'm in the middle of the third one right now though.

I like James Clavell. I've only read shogun and king rat, shogun's lying in the back of my car right now. Is the made-for-tv series really good? Gonna try finding it..
Is Tai-Pan up to shogun standards?
I'll write some about myself but only if it is asked of me.

Well than tell us about yourself.
I know or think you migrated from AGB, and that KillerGremlin has a secret thing for you since he thinks you are so awesome, a fact he reminds me of like once a week.

Haha, really once a week? I think I mentioned that Seth was on AGB and that he is a pretty chill guy...I probably wouldn't give him a bj unless I was really drunk though...
Zen is a sexy guy too. I'd like to hear more about Zen, although I know he lives in paradise and is a total ladies man.

I'd like to hear about magus. This will make up for me not having anyone to ask about in my previous post.

Well I am 21 as of right now and I am friends with Blue and RagedHybrid in real life, and I converse a tad bit too much with BaB.
Mostly he stalks me and talks to me all the time but whatever.
I work on the campus I go to school at and I work in a PC Support Center as a field team tech.
I've been gaming since the time of the SNES/Genesis and Game Boy. I enjoy RPGs and good old fashioned Action/Adventure. Also Gran Turismo.
I would like to know about.....hmm...
TheSlyMoogle.
