Re: GTA IV Hype Thread
PS3 version.
This game will probably take up 50% of my gaming time for the rest of the year. Other notables including MGS4, Madden NFL 2009, MLB 08 The Show and Rock Band.

At around 11:50am Greenwich Mean Time, the PAL version of Grand Theft Auto IV for the Xbox 360 was ripped and leaked to various torrent sites by a ground called iCON. This would of course enable burning a copy for the home console. Meanwhile, the NTSC version is expected within the next 48 hours. YouTube clips have been popping up online of the game's opening and early missions — but as of posting, many of the clips have been taken down. The retail release is a mere six days away. This isn't the first GTA game leaked as San Andreas was as well. And it was leaked a week before, too.
We haven't verified whether the 6.32 GB file really is the full game, but there are plenty of listings on torrent sites now and we contacted Rockstar for comment.

Re: GTA IV Hype Thread
The final trailer did more to excite me. This was good, but that was great. The Mavado remix made it.

Re: GTA IV Hype Thread
It's disappointing to know that no other reviews will be out until after the game releases. I do not doubt the game will satisfy, but its always shady to see embargos like this.
If the game is truly great, let me hear about it from a number of different sources. I won't hesitate because of a few 9.5's, Rockstar. More reviews means more perspectives and more information. IGN's review didn't mention side missions in any detail.
I think I'll try to finish Heavenly Sword this weekend. That, along with Gran Turismo and the Metal Gear Online beta, should preoccupy me as well as anything else until Monday night.

Re: GTA IV Hype Thread
Hahaha, my brother was going to buy it no matter what I said. I should've gone with his deal but I decided to chip in half. Now I get GTA4 goodness for half the price!
