Cel shaded?... Day 1 purchase for me.
I'm a sucker for cel shaded games... Wind Waker says "hello" as the Greatest Zelda ever/ 2nd best game ever (only behind Gears).

Same as in GameInformer. The write-up gave me positive vibes. Going back to the whimsical style that made Sands of Time, and eschewing the darker tones since Ubisoft have a new series in Assassin's Creed to occupy that role now.
The side-by-sides of the character concept art and in-game model were impressively close. Dig it.

You're missing one outdoor shot where the camera is pulled back to show the scope of the area. It's quite nice.

Nothing will compare to the oldschool Prince of Persia I used to play every day for the ooooold Macs.

 This game is so money.
It has shot up to my most anticipated console release for the reminder of the year.

Ah, that looks awesome. When I first heard it would be cel shaded, I didn't realize it would look this detailed.

BTW, you said 'next-gen.' I think you mean current-gen.

Next gen is PS4 and whatever the next Xbox will be called. I doubt they're developing this game for those.

I'm saying "next-gen" is not an exclusive term for describing generations of consoles. It can describe anything in succession. Especially not just consoles. Especially not here. |

I look that new claw glove he wears. What a clever device! Imagine how cool it looks when sparks are coming from the tips when he's grinding along the side of stone wall or something. |

Rather than having any sort of ultimate combo like God of War's "light, light, heavy" attack, Prince promises a more fluid system. You can mix and match as you like. It's hard to judge how well this works without playing POP, but just from looking at a battle, it seems very intuitive. Ubisoft claims that you can pull off 15-hit combos with its system, which is quite a bit more than you could pull off in the previous Prince games. The goal is to allow for maximum creativity in combat and a fluidity that matches the Prince's athletic prowess. |

		| Because you decide where to go, the order in which you save the world is going to drastically change your game experience. You and a friend could both beat POP going in completely opposite directions and therefore having completely unique experiences with every single land. For example, one of the bosses you face releases a corruption trap across the unhealed areas of the world when he dies. This trap remains for the rest of the game, only disappearing when an area is healed. So if you fight this boss first, it means you will ratchet up the acrobatic difficulty for the remainder of gameplay. Take him out last and the trap becomes somewhat negligible. |
