Trophies aren't what I'm talking about really. You get full access to the XMB by pressing the button. It moves quickly and seamlessly unlike the guide on the 360 which chugs along at times.

Not to mention the fact that it's on par with the 360 now, if not better, and it's all available for the low price of $0 a year as compared to $50 a year.

Ahh, that's the kicker then. M$ should consider offering some of it's Live features for free, or reducing the price of Live, then, since neither Nintendo or Sony are charging for those things.

Word on the street is that, as a way to prevent people from cheating the system, the Trophy app will not search for pre-existing data. meaning that you have to accomplish the goal after the patch is patched. So, if this is true, and if it means I have to beat DMC4 on HoH difficulty again, and get my BB emblem on MGS4 again then I will be kinda disappointed. Though I'll prolly end up doing another BB run eventually anyway.

I guess it makes sense, that way you couldn't just download gamesaves before the Trophies come out and have it recognize that file as your own, but still..

Yeah I heard about that too. I'm ok with it, it just means that I'll have to play R&C again (no problem), Heavenly Sword again (no problem), MGS4 again (no problem), finally finish Uncharted (no problem), etc. Luckily I loved all of these games so much that I can play them again with no worries. I am totally open and willing to replay all of them.

There will be a *bloop* sound when you unlock a trophy! Sorry, I'm excited! It originally said there wasn't when the Playstation Blog was posted today, but it was changed to say one was added.

Awesome. I hope it's not a sound like we hear in the XMB or anything - I hope it's a whole new jingle.

There better be pop-ups for leveling up, too.
