Sure Sony screwed up with the firmware, but the more important thing is........how are they compensating for it?
Oh and Nintendo have pissed me right off with SSB Brawl. They offer to "CLEAN" the lens which is absolute bs, and it's been 1 week+ since logging the ticket with em, and still no parcel to send the Wii back to em!

That really is BS. I had some problems a couple of weeks ago with HP. My laptop stopped working (and I discovered they had issued a recall for the exact problem I was having) and after sending it in, they called me and tried to tell me the keyboard was broken, the screen was broken, and all this other stuff which had never happened, and wanted to charge me $728 for it. They said I could either do that or they would send it back.
I basically kept calling every day and asked for a case manager, and eventually got them to fix it for free.
Moral of the story: aggravate the crap out of them.
