They lowered the price of the phone, but 3G has upped the price of the data plan and lowered the price of the battery. I read somewhere, 4 hours of talk time. WTF is that, Apple?

Well, I wouldn't have dared to unofficially update anyway. I didn't even jailbreak mine

Maybe if I register with a UK address, I'd be able to buy the update.. I already registered actually, but I think the Touch firmware isn't available yet

But wait - updating erases the files on my iPod? That sucks..
