Final Fantasy XIII to 360

People who own Ps3's lost nothing, Sony just lost what would have been a selling point for their system. (I actually had just mentioned it less than a week ago in BaB's RPG thread) I think this is a very big announcement against Sony... though honestly I don't think its even as bad as losing GTA3 when you look at last gen's sales (and this gen's).

I was honestly expecting them to back down on the MGS4 exclusiveness there too.. But I guess not, probably sold enough to make up for the production costs, and made it a historic game.

Sony's show is probably going to have to bring back something retro that's exclusive to try to top this.. Maybe a God of War 3, or Final Fantasy 7 remake. I think the only big title that's outright expected is Gran Turismo.

Yes, I suppose this is huge industry news, but that trailer made me want to vomit. I'm so sick of how derivitive and lazy the creative end of Square-Enix has become. Technically, they produce wonders, but what they are producing is simply nicer looking versions of worlds that they created YEARS ago.

Its the same technicolor landscapes, the same spikey haired effeminate heroes juxtaposed with a mysterious anti-hero (who is usually the most polite version of an a$%hole ever envisoned), usually vying over the same boring damsel, as they try and save "Gaia" by finding the last candy coated unicorn or discovering true panda love, or some s**t.

In retrospect, when I really started to think about it, this isn't really that shocking.

Final Fantasy was on Nintendo systems before the Playstations. Final Fantasy 7, 8, and 11 were also released on the PC, so the only Final Fantasy's that were really exclusive to the PS was 9, 10, and 12. That's only about a fourth of the main series.

Well they were released on pc after the initial release on the PSX. Here, the x360 version will be launched the same day as ps3 version. So there is a bit of difference, whether it's shocking or not......only you can know this...my son.
