Yeah, quitting soda has become part of my diet too. At first it was pretty hard, but now I don't really miss it and just drink a ton of water. The only beverages that I drink anymore that have calories are lightly sweetened iced teas (Honest Tea, Inko's Tea), smoothies, soy milk, lightly sweetened coffee, and booze.

The one part I miss is reviewing sodas as a hobby. When you don't drink 'em, you can't review 'em.

I've started drinking soy milk. It's pretty good, but I think it's going to be more of an acquired taste. I got chocolate too, and I think vanilla might have been a better choice.

I don't drink much pop, just an occasional Diet Dr. Pepper (regular pop is so insanely bad for you.) But I do drink a ton of coffee, which I've been trying to cut back on and drink more water. I'm down to about 1.5 cups a day.

I didn't bother to read the whole thread until now, so...

I've noticed I've cut down on soda. I haven't given it up completely, but I just don't drink it as often these days. Now I think my guilty pleasure is Vitamin Water.

I gave up soda completely for like a year and a half. Then, I broke down and slowly started drinking it again. And, I started drinking beer in college which is a technicality I suppose....so now I go for moderation.

One soda every once in a while won't kill you. Drinking 12 mountain dews at a LAN will....those were the days.

I still drink energy drinks like Red Bull and Rockstar. That's like soda combined with coffee, only worse.

So...you pick your battles. I avoid Coke and Pepsi like the plague. I can't stand that crap....it's way too acidic. I'll do a Mr. Pib or Dr. Pepper if I'm really feeling up for something with a nice acid kick, otherwise I go with rootbeer or 7up.
