I'd have to say Lost in Translation.

For anyone who's been in a different country, a different culture and felt left out, either because of not knowing the language or not being able to fit in.

I've been in both, at the same time. Really captures the emotion.

12 Angry Men

A classic movie that takes place almost entirely within the space of one room. It'll make you appreciate the actors and writing of years past. Plus, the themes are still very much applicable to this day. Check it out.

I was a fan of this movie.
It has everything you could ask for.
Even a little detective work.

Also To Kill a Mockingbird.

As for the one movie I could recommend, I am going to think about this because honestly off the back it would be TDK but such a cliche answer for me.
