Had some ups and downs, but I'm pretty good lately
How are you, how is your family? Are you back for some time, or just dropping by?

Re: Metroid Prime Trilogy
Hey BAB and Blue Fire, I've been struck down by Swine Flu (heh, quite funny for a Muslim eh?). It's only mild, and possibly not even the swine variety, but I get to take at least a week off work. That means I actually get time to go on the net and surf
Family's fine guys, thanks for asking! Although I have persuaded my wife to take the kids and herself to her parent's house while I am still infectious.
I'll stick around for a bit, and possibly longer
Hope life hasn't been too precarious for ya Bube? If you ever need to chat, drop me a PM.
Anyone know what ever happened to Xantar and erm... what's his face... The guy with the most posts?! (edit: just remembered it was DeathsHand).

Re: Metroid Prime Trilogy
Sorry to hear that, I hope you get well soon
Well, like I said, there were a few bad moments, especially the few years in a school I absolutely despised, and my decision to leave school and transfer to another one. After leaving, it was a very rough few months until I got accepted into a different school. But it all ended well, and like I said, it's all going really good right now
Xantar doesn't hang around here anymore I think. DeathsHand posts much less than he used to, but he's still around..

Xantar is often on his msn/aim/etc.
And hey there SL. Nice to hear from you. And yes, that is ironic.

Re: Metroid Prime Trilogy
So I bought this yesterday. I never got a chance to beat Prime 2 since I borrowed it, and I just didn't bother getting Metroid Prime 3 for some weird reason..but when I heard that this was coming out I decided to wait for it. It's pretty sweet, I must say. I do like the controls a lot on the Wii. Also, it was interesting playing Metroid Prime with these controls. I was kind of sluggish with the first part, but I knew what I had to do at least. I haven't gotten really far yet into Metroid Prime 3, but I love the grapple the most so far. It's also strange interacting with people in a Metroid game, but I like it. Doesn't make the game feel so lonely at first haha. But I'm at a part where it has turned into a one woman show, but I was expecting it.
Also, I'll beat Metroid Prime 2 later, I just never liked it that much.

Re: Metroid Prime Trilogy
Holy shit, I found a save station..PHEW. Ever feel that way?
*Spoiler*
So I am playing Metroid Prime 3, now that I have the trilogy, and I was in the process of getting the seeker missiles. If anyone has played this game, they know why I said that up above. All of those metroids were locked up due to the energy cell still being in place, and I knew I'd have to power down the protective glass by taking the energy cell out, in order to get an upgrade at the end of the maze, so I knew I would have to destroy all of those metroids on the way back. I got to a save station, and I just slumped in my chair. I don't know how I killed four at a time, but I did.

Re: Metroid Prime Trilogy
Yeah I think I remember that, tense situation.
I wish you could easily replay some moments of games. Like the first fight with Ridley.

I feel the same way. I really want to beat this game, but at the same time I want to wait until I get home so I can play it on my parent's flat screen tv with surround sound. If I beat it now then I won't be able to play some of the cool parts on that tv.
