Re: Bucket List
I have quite the bucket list actually. I've been keeping it since I was in high school. I'll just go through some of the most important ones for me:
1. Learn to play guitar, at least enough to be able to write a song.
2. Sky Dive
3. Start a scholarship fund with general basis being that it go to kids like me, who upon telling their family they were gay they were abandoned. I figure as long as there are southern Baptists in the south, there will be a need for this. I generally accept that one my list, this is probably the one thing I fear I will never be able to accomplish.
4. Get into the guiness book of records for at least 1 year. I believe I will be able to do this someday if some kid can get in there for playing Gears of War for 23 hours straight, I figure I can think of something wily like that too.
5. Get a tattoo, not complicated just when I have spare cash I generally spend it on games or something to that effect.
6. Visit Japan, specifically the temples.
7. Write a book, even if it never gets published, or no one else ever reads it.
8. Scuba Dive
9. Teach a college course.
10. Run in a marathon and finish it, even if I'm the last one through.
There's a hell of a lot more, like I said, whole notebook.
Whenever I get depressed, and I'm like "What the fuck is the point of even living?" Which not saying I'm suicidal, just sometimes one wonders why we're alive, I write 1 thing in the notebook that I want to do before I die. Then I go through and look through them all again, and cross out ones that I've done. It always cheers me up.
