PS3 Fail!

You've probably heard about it, or found that your own PS3 has some problems. You've probably read all those theories and stuff. What are your thoughts on the subject?

I think the calendar glitch thing is correct. And that it'll probably be fixed with a firmware update. I just hope Sony make an announcement soon - the thought of having to send in my PS3 is kind of depressing..

Supposedly they're gonna have a fix by March 2nd? I'm not sure. At least you don't need to sign in to PSN to get an update because we'd all be screwed.

Well... at least PSN is free... and at least I don't have to ship my Ps3 back to Sony to get it fixed. Not saying anything.. but just sayin'.

It's not a PSN problem though.. Nobody really knows what it is, but both the servers, and the internet connection, are perfectly fine.

What's even more interesting, I wanted to play FIFA, I booted up the game, and it told me that there was an update. It downloaded and installed the update, but at the title screen, told me that it couldn't load trophies and returned be to the XMB.

Argh. I already tried to play Guitar Hero, got a weird error message, then played Fallout and did quite a bit of stuff. I hope nothing happens to my save data.

Actually, you know what's even more messed up? I'm hearing that this also affects people without access to PSN to begin with. Like people who just hve a Ps3 and no internet...(Even though I know it's not a PSN problem, I figured the issue was caused by some type of update)

If that is the case then it is a software failure that's always existed in the system, and it's sony's own personal RROD. lol
