I don't like Topher Grace because he ruined Spiderman 3 and the awesomeness that was Venom.

I do disagree.
He only ruined it for us because we're not 9 year old kids who are relatively new to the franchise considering they didn't grow up with the old cartoons of video games.

It's like Star Wars syndrome. The reason most people think the first 3 sucks is because they're older, and watched them as a kid, or at least a younger age - and had such strong feelings for it, that now that they're older nothing can compare to how awesome it was as a kid.

Just like how kids love the first 3, but dislike the last 3 because they find them boring.

I don't think Topher Grace ruined Venom, or that movie.
I think the movie destroyed itself, and to put the failure on one person is ridiculous.
I think Topher did a good job of being Eddie Brock. A very good job.
Venom also didn't cease to be awesome just because he was played by Topher Grace. Venom was still awesome.

Oh I wanna disagree with Moogle as well.

Like Typhoid said, you can not point to a singular character that ruined the movie, hell in my estimation you could make a shorter list of what actually worked in the movie.

And its odd to hold a grudge against someone for one role in one movie, that was bad with or without him.

The simple fact as I pointed out, the director did not like the character of Venom (and personally can't blame him) and was forced to include him in the movie.

With that said, I thought Topher did okay with what he was given.

Also, if you think that's bad, you don't wanna see what happens with Venom in the comics.

Depends on if he likes the symbiote or Brock more. I rather like what they've done with Brock.
