The iPad looks like a sweet e-comic reader.

Good for supporting indie comics at the 99 cent price range. Given Marvel and DC's higher prices I see no reason for anyone to stop downloading their comics for free. In an ideal world digital comics would be extremely cheap in order to bring comics to the masses again and break out of being the tiny community it's become. It would be more of a hook to get folks to buy trades which is what the industry is moving towards.

As I mentioned in the other thread DC and Marvel are just being greedy. How can every other company charge 99 cents and yet DC has the gall to charge full cover price for a digital comic? And it actually costs more to buy the entire Sandman collection digitally than in trade form.
