And why would you think that?

I mean honestly, it is an interesting role especially if franchise does well and he is in the sequels because his role gets much larger.

And is it any worse than dressing up as a blue alien like in Avatar?

Mark Strong as Sinestro is a match made in heaven. Definitely the thing I'm most excited about. And he got them to keep Sinestro's comic book look when they were trying to muck him up (or so he made it sound in an interview), so props to him.
