Do you still watch Day9? Next Funday Monday is 'don't expand to your natural'. I never tried the Fundays because I wanted to climb the ladder (and using some weird strat doesn't help much). But now that I don't care much, I decided to join in.

So I've been playing some interesting matches where I expanded anywhere but to my natural. And I think I've won more than 50%. I don't really see all that much benefits, other than that it shows you how easy it is to defend an expansion. And sometimes you can trick your opponent into believing you're still on 1 base.

That not expanding to natural seems pretty easy for me, as I already don't expand myself
