Day 1 - Your First Video Game: Probably some old Mac or IBM (Monochrome Green/Black) game. Maybe Pong? I remember playing Centipede as a kid and Donkey Kong. But I remember some sort of number game back on the old IBM machine. And of course Mac games in 1st and 2nd grade, and Commander Keen on my home machine (DOS). Shit, I'm kind of sad that I cannot remember my first game. But it was ages ago.

Day 2 - Your favorite character: Jebus who knows. Maybe Link? I always enjoyed Banjo and Kazooie.

Day 3 - A game that is underrated: Heh, Banjo and Kazooie. And No One Lives Forever.

Day 4 - Your guilty pleasure game: Peggle; any "casual" game like Plants vs. Zombies.

Day 5 - Game character you feel you are most like (or wish you were): I like the quiet, nameless heros. So Link or Gordan Freeman.

Day 6 - Most annoying character: Navi.

Day 7 - Favorite game couple: Master Chief and Cortana (this one is hard, I'll have to come back to this)

Day 8 - Best soundtrack: Halo is pretty epic...Left 4 Dead....and Majora's Mask is good too. GTA but does that count?

Day 9 - Saddest game scene: Parts of Halo Reach are pretty sad

Day 10 - Best gameplay: Stupid...do I go by genre?

Day 11 - Gaming system of choice: PC, by far.

Day 12 - A game everyone should play: The original Super Mario Bros. Someday I will make my grandkids play that shit.

Day 13 - A game you’ve played more than five times: Super Mario Bros., NOLF, Halo

Day 14 - Current (or most recent) gaming wallpaper: Portal

Day 15 - Post a screenshot from the game you’re playing right now: I'll save space and just say L4D

Day 16 - Game with the best cut scenes: Starcraft!!??

Day 17 - Favorite antagonist: Gordan Freeman, Cate Archer, Master Chief

Day 18 - Favorite protagonist: Zombies, The Devil (Diablo), Flood (Halo), Government (Half-Life 1), H.A.R.M.

Day 19 - Picture of a game setting you wish you lived in: Vice City, hahaha

Day 20 - Favorite genre: FPS

Day 21 - Game with the best story: Hard to say. The Halo arc is good, the Zelda arc is good, Half-Life has a good story, there are countless RPGs....NOLF has a good story....I can get back to this I suppose

Day 22 - A game sequel which disappointed you: Halo 2, Deus Ex: Invisible War, all the Twisted Metal games post-2 sans Black, every Metal Gear Solid sequel, all the shitty 3D Sonic Games (all of them!)

Day 23 - Game you think had the best graphics or art style: Jet Set Radio Future, Wind Waker, Pikmin

Day 24 - Favorite classic game: Zelda: Link's Awakening

Day 25 - A game you plan on playing: L4D/L4D2

Day 26 - Best voice acting: NOLF

Day 27 - Most epic scene ever: Diablo 2 and Starcraft Cutscenes, parts of Halo, parts of Half-Life

Day 28 - Favorite game developer: Valve

Day 29 - A game you thought you wouldn’t like, but ended up loving: So many...Pikmin, Roge Squadron 3D...there's many more

Day 30 - Your favorite game of all time: Counter-Strike, OoT, NOLF....I have a few more probably

haha yup, I was hammering out my responses in notepad before dashing off to my destination.

I could probably sink some more thought into some of those. And I am baffled that I cannot remember my first game. There was the obvious stuff like NBA Jam and Sonic back on Genesis, and a whole lot of SNES stuff. The NES escaped me, but I am younger than some of you folks. And there were a bunch of old PC games. I had this old PC game that ran off of the huge 5" floppys and came with some 3D glasses. That shit was epic.

Day 6 - Most annoying character:
This is a multi-way tie, but for all the same reasons.
Navi from Ocarina of Time.

The radio conductor from Dead Rising


Day 7 - Favorite game couple:
Nathan Drake and Elena
Their relationship seems the most human since it isn't all lovely dovey and they do seem to have a history beyond just saving the other.

Day 8 - Best soundtrack:
I'm gonna cheat and say Super Smash Bros Brawl...
If that doesn't count, I'm just gonna say Sonic Colors was extremely impressive.

Day 9 - Saddest game scene:
Perhaps more touching than sad, but Mordin singing in Mass Effect 2.

Day 10 - Best gameplay:
The super Mario series, if I had to pick one, would be Super Mario bros 3.

Day 6 - Most annoying character: Vanille, from Final Fantasy XIII.

Day 7 - Favorite game couple: Shepard and Liara.

Day 8 - Best soundtrack: Pokemon Black/White

Day 9 - Saddest game scene: Several scenes from Xenosaga. Maybe the end of Final Fantasy Tactics.

Day 10 - Best gameplay: Any Zelda game.

Hmm, I would go with the Ratchet and Clank series. One of the few gaming franchises that actually gets humor.

Yeah, he doesn't talk much, but the man takes pride in his work, always doing it with a smile and a cheer.
