Ya, but id think the intense amount of water from a hurricane would put it out pretty quick.

Water won't have much of and effect if it's an electrical or gas fire.

As for me, my power went out 4 times, but it came back on within 5 minutes each time. Overall Philadelphia was spared. We just had a ton of power outages, mostly due to downed trees and utility poles. It seems like the surge hit Jersey and New York, while Baltimore and DC got all the rain. And the eye of the storm went right over my area, so the winds weren't as strong as they were farther out from the center of the storm.
