It may or may not be true, but ofcourse the GCN will not survive on 4 titles alone. Heck, I don't think any console would be able to survive on that.
Nintendo has several other game lined up for these year, and I think they announced something like a 100 games to be released by the end of the year( starting from Jan ofcourse).
They have um let's see:
Resident Evil Zero (You may also count 2 and 3)
WWE WrestleMania X8
Vexx
Turok
Die Hard
Phantasy Star Online
Lost Kingdoms
BomberMan Generations
Eternal Darkness
Smuggler Run 2
Animal Crossing
Doshin the Giant
And well some others I suppose.
I didn't include stuff like Wario World, Mario Party 4, Mario Tennis, Mario Golf, Mario Kart (Damn lots of Mario games), 1080, Skies of Arcadia, Phantasy Star Online Card and some others because I really don't have a date for them.
