As far as I know, contests are up to the moderator/s of each forum.
And it also seems that some mods are even awarding members with the best posts on a daily basis, namely GKG in the GCN Forum.
As far as sigs and avatars are concerned, I will be holding a contest sometime soon. Details will be given.... 'Soon'
